Liquid Story Binder XE Tutorial:
Scene Based Writing with Builders...
Begin with a Planner. Enter your planned Chapter titles.
Set the Planner into 'Builder Mode' using the Planner's 'Preferences' menu.
Double-click any Planner item to create a new Builder.
Use the Builder to write and organize various Chapter-based scenes, dividing content into manageable pieces. Create one Builder (containing many scenes) for each Chapter of your novel.
When you have finished writing all the scenes of a given Chapter, choose 'Build All Items' from the 'Builder' menu. This will combine the individual pieces into a unified Chapter document.
Make sure to disable the 'Build With Document Titles' and 'Build With Document Descriptions' preferences.
Click 'Build Chapter Document' to complete the process.
The Builder combines its various scenes into a single Chapter document ready for further editing, printing and Manuscript Building.
When all your scenes have been written and turned into completed Chapters, use the Planner to build your manuscript.
